Here, they discuss the most common winter illnesses that they’re seeing right now and when the right time is to go into the emergency room. Also noting that the winter time in New England can bring a greater risk for falls and injuries.

Researchers are looking more and more at reducing or eliminating pain without the use of opioids.

Combining over-the-counter pain medications, like ibuprofen and acetaminophen is one way.

Still, there are possible side effects, including stomach upset and constipation.
